A Music Lover’s Must See Destination

Nashville has so much to see and do! Plan on walking A LOT and not sleeping near as much as you are used to on a vacation.

Our days began with finding breakfast, many restaurants don’t open until 11am so this may take some searching and possibly reservations made in advance. We did make eggs and pancakes (we had a kitchenette with a stove) in our room twice because it was a little frustrating finding food at 7am.

After breakfast we got dressed up and (didn’t know it until we got there) we didn’t return to our room until around 2am EACH DAY… we are NOT party heavy people so this was so out of our norm but found ourselves immersed in all the food, music and activities we stayed entertained all day long and not ready to “GO HOME”!

Broadway…. SO. MUCH. FUN. Live musicians signing ALL DAY long in every bar made it easy to sit in one bar for far longer than you ever expected! We sat and drank, listened, sang along with the bands, danced a little and had so much fun! After we spent almost 4 hours in one bar we had to make a new rule - ONE APPETIZER, ONE DRINK AND GET THE CHECK!

We found some awesome food too- we found an amazing mushroom pizza at Mellow Mushroom and The Standard was a great steak house!

One of our favorite activities outside the bars - the electric scooters! These city owned scooters are a great way to get around. After walking back to our room that first night, the next morning we discovered these scooters were the best way to get around. We took them on strolls over the pedestrian bridge and
